They were so damn tight it was amazing. And the show was in a church basement which always great.

Haha nice. One of the three shows I've played was an illegal one in a sanctuary because we were so punx (nobody really noticed we were playing free jazz).

Ladysmith Black Mambazo
I went to see these guys on Monday night. For anyone not familiar, they're a South African vocal group who have been around for 50+ years and collaborated with a ton of people, probably most famously Paul Simon. They put on a great show. Beautiful harmonies. A surprising amount of high kicking.

Jealous. Their contributions to Graceland and Rhythm of the Saints are nothing short of amazing. Did they perform any Simon songs?

Yup, "Homeless" and the acapella part of "Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes".

Most recent show was Judas Priest. Man, I'd see them again in a heartbeat.

Got to see The Appleseed Collective again recently after not having seen them for like 4 years!

Welp Tyler, The Creator just announced a tour and he's coming to Detroit so I might to that if I save up some money I think that'd probably be a really great show.
