I did have an interesting experience once playing one of my favourite albums. As I was listening to it and easing into relaxation, I noticed that the song I was listening to sounded faster than I'd ever heard it before, which I supposed was me observing the change of my own brainwaves from beta into alpha. It was neat.
Hmm, what would be some good examples, just for my knowledge?

Just when I'm sitting down to relax, either when the TV or computer is on. It will always be on in the background as well.

Anything I can. Cleanin house? Just about anything uptempo. Reading? Blues, rock, or whatever's relevant to mood. When I'm driving or walking the dog it's usually something loud...then ya got dancing, soaking in the tub, cooking, man maybe I've seen too many 80's movies & my subconscious is trying to create an actual soundtrack to my life or something.

Well if I'm listening to an album for the first time, I usually like to sit and give it my undivided attention. If I'm in a mood or not feeling up to it, I do the undivided attention thing with the 2nd or 3rd time I hear the album.

Beyond that I'm either surfing the web, driving or working round the house.
