Hell no. Is he talented? Yes.
Seeing as he helps co-write songs ( which means he could say put the word b***** in the song and now he gets mentioned as a co-writer) doesn't mean much for talent. He doesn't make his own music or lyrics where as Serj Tankian on his first solo album played every instrument wrote the music and sang.......

So, now your allegiance comes out. You're a nu metal fan boy. Didn't your species die out in like 2001?
System of a Down aren't even relevant. If you were trying to take a stance against Drake for whatever reason, you could of at least tried to make a balanced comparison.
This whole thread holds no merit whatsoever.

How the hell did you even get these two in your head at once?
He definitly writes his own music which these days is a big plus, but I find his voice irritating and some of his songs are really stupid, just that, I can find no sense in them.

SOAD for sure, and who cares if they're not relevant, they're still SOAD.

Dre cause he was the genius behind making raps have really catchy beats. And set a trend that is still going on today

The OP is obviously trying to diminish Drake as a musical artist with this thread for whatever reason I do not know, probably because it's fashionable to do so.
I just find it hilarious, that in his mind the opposite end of the spectrum, the seemingly 'great' band in his eyes is System of a Down.
They haven't released an album in what, 8 years? The whole music scene they belonged to is now defunct and those who followed nu-metal either still live in the past or presumably moved onto other things.
Honestly, if System of a Down released a new album in 2013, who would actually care?
Their music wasn't good enough to demand a constant following and the style of music they played is no longer in production for the most part.

It's an invalid comparison and oddly enough none of those who voted with the OP have actually come up with any reasoning behind their decision.
Sure, I've listened to System of a Down but I find them to be a one-trick pony, making loud unruly music that's just preachy in content matter.

Drake is awful, that lazy, slurred, monotonous, arrogant flow just infuriates me. It's the same reason I don't like Lil' Wayne, they are both not good. Absolutely zero substance. He makes the most exceedingly moist music going. Fucking 'swagger' bollocks.

I agree with MC that it's a bandwagon to tell the world you don't like Drake, but it's a bandwagon that exists for good reason, because he's massively overrated and annoying as fhuck.
