It's 2 or more freaking pages long most of the time. And even if it is in the terms shouldn't I at least get a warning? Couldn't you at least send me a message telling me not to do it again and delete the thread? Was it really necessary to permanently delete my account? I think it's stupid, and if the mods delete this thread too then I'll explode all over this site. I just want to be able to participate on this site like everyone else. Being oblivious to one thing shouldn't qualify a permanent ban. If it's possible I'd like my old account to be unbanned and then I'll delete this one. Thanks.

It's in our rules in the announcement section of all our subforums. If you have next to no posts and suddenly post your band's music, a mod will think you're a spammer and deal with it like we deal with all spammers. We get lots and lots of them.
The way to avoid this is to participate in the community for long enough before posting your tunes so that we don't think you're a spammer. We cannot read minds, nor do we have the time to contact each and every spammer to ask his true intentions.

If you want to be a part of this community and then eventually post your music, you have to do it in that order, and not after 1 or two posts, which isn't what we consider "participation".

Those are the conditions. Take it or leave it.

As for your post, no I didn't see it but as FD has explained the mods don't have time to go through every post that MAY be a spam and figure out the possibilities as to whether or not it may be genuine. Participate, talk, create threads, get to know people. Eventually you will be able to post your music.

Unless it's crap.

Wait about three months.

If I was a mod I'd ban everyone who wrote in large unseparated paragraphs

I was so heated when I wrote that, I'm amazed it wasn't in all caps. I'd look like suck a douche if it was in all caps. Well I don't think my old account is going to get unbanned so I guess I'll just have to deal with what I've got from now on. I'm not really sure if I want to continue this account though. It's nature is so aberrant... But it could be funny if I'm still around in a few months when newcomers are asking why I'm mad for all of us to laugh at this account's origin.

We can unban your original account at any time. If you would prefer to use the original account, let me know and I will un-ban it. I'll probably ban the account you're on, though. What with the multiple account rule you're breaking that we're nice enough to let slide for some reason.

Pick an account. Then be a part of the community. And believe me, if you try to half-ass it just to get your music out, the worst time is now, since all this attention is now focused on whether you'll pan out as yet another "member" that fades away after he's done his job or hasn't gotten the kind of feedback he wants, or someone permanent that people care enough about to listen to his music in the first place.

Think about that.
