I don't think anyone would necessarily want to. But I am guessing it's rather unavoidable, assuming you are in a position of knowing you are going to die soon.

Maybe that's why I chose songs with words that I can latch onto. Just fade away feeling those words and other sounds.

I reckon it would have to be a choice between two types of music, depending on what stage of life you're at:

1) Something that provides a backdrop for you to remember the good times and the best memories in your life without being distracting

or 2) Something that distracts you from the memories in your life and allows you to go out without remembering the bad times
