I know Indie isn't a genre, but a lot of the time, most Indie tunes all sound the same to me.

Dude you can't just lump an entire genre and it is a genre together because you have heard some second rate semi independent ****.

I meant Indie as meaning bands or record labels that are underground. There's tons of genres that have Indie artists, but anything labelled as Indie tends to be very boring hipster stuff.

Listen, with that attitude you deserve the ****ty music you get. You can't shut down an entire genre because it's been over run by hipsters in the last few years. Please, by saying that you are gonna end up missing out on indie itself, and all it's killer off chutes.

I didn't mean to come off as ignorant. However, a lot of the music classified as Indie has always sounded very annoying to my ears.

That being said, I guess a lot of the music I listen to could be described as underground or not very well known. They don't have that Indie sound that most would expect, but they belong to independent labels.

You don't sound ignorant you sound young, and green. That's it. Uneducated is more the word I am looking for.Use the internet for it's purpose. Information, there are so many bands that are considered indie.
