Album that changed your musical outlook

So basically, I started to get interested in musical genres, besides the instrumental music education, in 2008.
I was in the final class of middle school, and I had to do a presentation about Jazz - So I ordered this CD collection of vocal jazz music.
Don't laugh, actually I have never had many options to get to know new genres without internet connection.
In a nutshell, you could say that this cd collection showed me how interesting other genres are.
