sometimes I get that way when im like exploring new music I explored so much or covered a lot of ground that im like ok im tired of exploring and go back to my core ...
well kinda different from your problem but yeah lol but to me I think u need to Dive into the Melodic and mellow side of music IMO u need that balance IMO |

Sounds like you're in a bit of a music rut so i suggest it's time to explore other types of music..
I myself go through this music rut too from time to time and it's during that time i seek out different new bands to renew my interest in music. i always go back to alternative eventually but each time i venture outside my comfort zone i always comeback with a few new bands to expand it. Quote:

If I'm in need of new music, I go to Rateyourmusic.com and check out the top lists. If I'm in the mood for, say, alternative rock, I look at the top 100 alternative releases, pick one I haven't heard and listen to it.
