But I think, especially as he gets older, he's better at the rock stuff than the hip-hop type stuff.
What did you think of Irony Is a Dead Scene? I love most everything he's done with Zorn but I get that's not for everyone.

Just a slightly OT point: has anyone else noticed that if you look at text that has been written directly opposite Exo's avvy (ie you can see the av as you read), the text seems to sort of shimmer and slide? I thought it was just my eyes but I did it a few times and got the same result, and yet, when his avvy has gone by, ie if there are lines of text below that, the effect stops. I'm assuming it's to do with the ripple effect on the image, but man it's cool and for you who get stoned it should be trippy.

Try it and see.

Irony Is a Dead Scene is quite good. He's better at the rock/metal/screamy stuff (with nice melodic singing too, of course), it feels more natural for him than when he's doing hip-hop or slightly more pop stuff. Though Lovage was very good too. I guess it's just that he's aging and isn't sounding as fresh or interesting to me anymore. I've been a fan since about 89 and has been one of my favorite singers all through the 90s and part of the 00s.

But speaking of Irony Is a Dead Scene, I saw Mr. Bungle on the California tour and Dillinger Escape Plan opened. I didn't know anything about them at the time though. I discovered that EP a few years later.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Kurt Cobain - [currently untitled] (November 6)

Will update once the title is announced. I wouldn't be surprised if it was called or closely related to Montage of Heck, since it's being paired with the dvd release of the film and that would be pretty good for marketing purposes.

I'm no diehard and I rarely listen to their music these days, but I still do like Nirvana. Much like how I like Yes and Rush but still talk **** on the majority of prog.
