Blue Cheer - Vincebus Eruptum, the whole album played as loud as possible. CD is good for this as you don't have to get up to flip it, although I prefer the sound of the vinyl when I am not otherwise occupied.

Julian Cope - Rite

Miles Davis - Agharta

Really anything that's long and propulsive and drowns out the city and the neighbors. And she doesn't notice or care what's playing so I can be pretty avant with it if I want to. Albums I know really well it can be fun to lock in with the rhythm hits. More than you wanted to know?

I tend to throw on The Beatles or ABBA. I'm not entirely sure why, it seems to be a habit.

There's a song by an Australian band, the Whitlams, I think it was called "The Lights are back On".... it had the line "We made love for an album"... I always found that oddly appropriate for a lovemaking song...

Over the years many a wonderful album has been the backing track to a bit of lovemaking between my wife and I.... too numerous to mention, but this particular song has always stood out...

The Field, American Music Club, Sigur Rós, you name it, it's probably happened. Even Big Daddy Kane himself!
