And... Townes Van Zandt?

There isn't much I won't try but, I really can't stand heavy pig squealing type of metal or, whatever it's called. Really it just sounds like bacon being made to me. And then I guess some stuff that's all over the place or off beat.

To reveal myself, Townes Van Zandt was an unknown quantity.

He sounds like the guy I'd listen two with a beer in one hand and a fishing pole in the other by the stream where I fish for trout, whitefish, suckers, & chubs. Damn trash fish!

Yum trout! I really miss that!

I totally agree about Van Zandt. Beer is necessary.

I am very limited with my music choice. I only tend to listen to video game soundtracks and pop music, with the occasional dance. Anything upbeat and catchy.

You will never find me listening to rock, classical, jazz, country, etc. Ever. Also despite being female, I have never been a huge fan of boy bands, so never listen to any of that.

Your liking video game soundtracks reveals you might like electronica, orchestral, and some amime soundtracks. Check out YMO & Ryuchi Sakamoto. The Japanese have a great love for synthesizers.

There's hope yet, no?

I forgot to add that I lost track of modern pop, rock, and most stuff of all kinds done after the turn of the century. I think that it was due to a total disdain of 'reality' TV shows.

I realized that I am not a member of the standard 'target market'. On the other hand, I do like NCIS & Blue Bloods.

I watch very little broadcast TV...

I dropped cable a few years ago because of so much redundancy. So I get antenna TV, & I spend quite a bit of time on Netflix, Hulu, & Crunchyroll. I detest the notion that I should pay $$$ to watch too many commercials.

As a friend once said: Life is too short to drink bad wine!

Given the amount of arrogant self-centeredness I've seen over the years on the Internet (I'm just saying in general), most posters would be spammers in the opinion of most other posters then, lol. It's not unusual for people on message boards to think that almost everyone else is a moron.
