Default Music you from a genre you normally don't like that you might consider.

Now, I've never been into country my entire life because the sound and meaning does nothing for me. However out of a whim, I looked into popular country music. I don't necessary like it, but instead of thinking "uh uh no way." I'm thinking "Not bad, I can see how someone can like this."

Example.

Whats the title of this thread supposed to be?

...anyway, here's some real country music like TH posted. That cookie cutter pop with a drawl in the OP is a travesty.

I can't appreciate rap music ordinarily, but really like Vinny Paz.

I don't like Jam bands at all. That stuff is self indulgent and annoying, I can't listen to 2 hours of guys dicking around on guitar. But I think The Grateful Dead album "Bear's Choice" rocks and their cover of the song Hard to Handle off it is a masterpiece. China Cat Sunflower is also a pretty cool song by them.

Have you heard Acid Mothers Temple? They take the jam band concept and do it right.

Not until just now, but I listened to that album a bit and it's definitely not for me. Jam bands are usually just too incoherent for me to get into.
