I wouldn't call Ron Peno of Died Pretty technically proficient but he carries a good tune.



Will Oldham/ Bonnie Prince Billy is another that comes to mind.

Kurt Cobain. In the studio he sounds great, but live and unplugged he sounds like someone hitting puberty, voice cracks and waivers. Other than that he's decent.
