99.9% of the time I use spotify nowadays which is super convenient because they have most stuff, but now and again I will come across something they don't have and have to download it which is a pain in the ass.

Is there something better than spotify, I mean larger library? Something that has EVERYTHING so I don't have to download anything ever again? Hmmm?

I've started using this app and it's pretty great.

Sounds like you should be using youtube music. I don't know if it has a larger library, but you can upload missing stuff to it and it plays like any other music on the service.

Since I make music, I f.ex. put my unfinished mixes up there so I can listen to them whenever and from wherever on pretty much whatever device.

I like artists like Joanna Newsom or Don Tiki who are largely absent from streaming services, so just bought mp3s and put them up there.

It is so much better than Spotify's dumb local file support.

I thought I was suggesting less work you wrote that you download music, so I figured you either use two different apps/services (some audio player + spotify) or you use Spotify's local file support, but that can be a bother when you're out of the house.

Both of these sound like a hassle, but I may have missed something.

But, Lars, aren't you worried about people ripping your music from Youtube?

Whatever music files you upload is there for you, not other people.

Publishing music to the platform is different.
