There's a lot of ambient music that I can actively listen to, Aphex Twin being a good example.

I don't treat ambient music as just background music

I think that's fair to say about most people who listen to ambient. A lot of it really does require your attention.

The only time I actively listen to ambient music is while I'm driving. I mostly have it on when I'm playing video games. Since the games I play usually involve more thinking than agility, I find it soothing and it helps me to focus.

@Troll - I like CBL. I feel like we've had this discussion before.
@elph - Cool track, do they have an album like that or just scattered works incorporated in the other albums?

Kaminanda - Infinite Breath (2016)
Finally got around to checking out the newest album. I love this so much.. Psychadelic electronic, it makes me want to meditate on acid and do out of body yoga. I didn't like this as much as Gateways of Consciousness, but it was still great.

I love Paul Jebanasam's Continuum, very apocalyptic.

Beastmilk - Climax (2013)
Somehow I always end up enjoying bands from Finland and Sweden.. I'd really love to know what the music scene is like over there. Do they produce anything bad?

Dear and the Headlights - Small Steps, Heavy Hooves (2007)
Generic indie. I liked it. Nothing special about this album, but it was enjoyable.

Are those examples of bad music each country produces? :X
