Thumbs down I just came across possibly the worst musical preference test ever

I did some searching to see if there were any musical preference tests that I hadn't already taken, and stumbled upon this one:

Music Psychometrics

Why do I think it's so bad? Well out of the 58 samples, there were only two or three that I remotely liked, and my results were all like 80-95 for every category, well below the average of 100 for all of them. I don't know if it's just that 90% of the samples sound recent (and I don't like current the current music production value), if it's down to how short the clips are, or if the samples are actually a bad selection, but still, it's pretty bad. Strangely most of the users on another forum scored high in some categories, so perhaps it's just me with my strange perception of things...

The rebellious one is kind of funny tbh because most of the time I voted the rock or punk songs (I only remember like two metal songs) in a negative way it was because they were too cliche.

Disliked nearly all of them too. It seemed like the overwhelming majority were electropop, hip-hop, or country (none of which I like that much) with a few rock and trad pop tracks sprinkled in. Which is a very limited selection.

Anyway, my scores-

Your score for Upbeat & Conventional was 88. Music from this cluster is found in the genres country, gospel, and bluegrass.
Your score for Soothing & Wistful was 104. Music from this cluster is found in the genres alternative, indie rock and roll, and folk.
Your score for Lyrical & Beating was 71. Music from this cluster is found in the genres rap and hip-hop.
Your score for Energetic & Rhythmic was 82. Music from this cluster is found in the genres EDM and techno.
Your score for Intense & Rebellious was 115. Music from this cluster is found in the genres rock-and-roll, punk, and metal.
