I don't necessarily mean new as in they just came out, just new to you

because I probably really get into 2-4 "new to me" artists every 6 months, and listen to 12 hours straight of Half Japanese for an entire week or something, it works for me

when I first got into postpunk/krautrock it was a new artist every week
12 hours straight for a week huh

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Not what I said. It'll just get you used to stronger tasting beers.

Sipping on a Lupulin Lust atm.

I go 50/50 for a long time, and then I'll dive into only new stuff for a while, and then I'll eschew new stuff for a while and just enjoy my collection.

Binge on new (or new to me) stuff for about a month, occasionally adding in some older to the rotation so my interest won't wear out, since I'm lovin' whoever it is that first month and don't want to wear out that initial infatatuation too quickly!
