I never got into Eric Clapton apart from Disraeli Gears (which I mostly like for the drums anyway) so good to know I haven't missed anything. Yikes.

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs is a great album imo. Wheels Of Fire's a good one, too.

I saw Eric in '85 at Summerfest in Milwaukee, and he was extremely intoxicated.

I was all like:



A few days later I saw Yngwie Malmsteen and Talas with Billy Sheehan at the same venue.

I was all like:

At least Clapton was better than Page in the ARMS Charity Concert in 1983. Page seemed like he didn't know what the hell was he doing. Like in Led Zeppelin's Live Aid performance, but even worse than that.
