Default Local Emo/Screamo

I'm up in NH so here goes.

I've been really looking and I found some interesting bands but nothing like the michigan scene or philly scene.

And the Rest was Silence from Manchester NH: this band really interested me, obviously have heavy thursday influence.

Blind Luck Music from Springfield Vermont: these guys have some really good stuff and some ok stuff...They immediately reminded me of Texas is the Reason

There are a few others, but unfortunately its rather limited up here. People tend to stick with thrash metal, punk, and folk.

What's nearby to you?

And the whole Philly scene is basically local, but i won't go into that, most of the really good ones are known here. And what is the Michigan scene?

Thats what I was thinking. I live here and sure, the same 5 people book the same 5 bands all the time and thats pretty much it.

Honestly, NH has/had some really great bands. L'antietam, Transistor Transistor, Alessa, Pathos (alessa offshoot), The Paperplane Crash, Cowboys Are Indians. The problem is, and this pretty much the case everywhere, is that there are no people/places booking shows at all.

Well i mean....a show in February, a show in June. They are dead for the most part, i wouldn't really call them too active.

I agree, for a while in Baltimore, it was Mike from Osceola pretty much booking every fricking band that played our city, now a few other people are helping out, like this chick that me and Ian know.
