and i mean impossible to be ground breaking in every genre at the same time. You can't be trend setting in, for example, country, alternative, pop, rap and techno all at the same time

We're all friends here. Take it easy.
There's a big difference between ground breaking and trend setting. Ground breaking just means you did something new, where as trend setting just means people are following you, you can do something new and not have people follow you. Also, it's hard to tell if Maroon 5 would be trend setting as of yet since they haven't been around for too terribly long.

gee, stop being so calculative and long winded. You knew what i meant
and the topic at hand wasn't my grammar in the first place

Listen to what you want as long as you enjoy yourself, music is entertainment anyways. I'm not trying to start fights, relax.

If you can't handle arguing then just go away. Your points will be attacked and if you can't handle it why come to a forum?

I wasn't long winded, I stated as much as I needed to in order to get my point across, something you should work on. And the topic may very well be about your grammar since a flaw in your grammar can cause people to interpret what you posted in different manners.

It's not a fight, it's an argument, a debate at that even. Don't expect to just post something and have no one disagree with it, that's childish.

You know what's childish? Picking at the crumbs of what people say on an internet forum instead of addressing what they said in the first place. I have no reason to continue in this thread, and until i do, bye.

Yeah I love it when n00bs are driven away by the musically ignorant. Maroon 5 aren't even close to being original, for a modern day pop band yes, for any time and any kind, not at all. What are you guys talking about?

Oh please , Jamiroquai have been doing that since the late 80s and it wasn't even original then.

Upbeat piano sound, 2 guitars, complimented by Levine's unique voice.
