I bought The Mountain earlier this year, and I LOVE the song 'The Mountain', but I thought the rest of the album was really crappy.

Just saw the Decemberists tonight, Heartless Bastards opened. Overall I really enjoyed their part of the show, Erika has an amazing voice.. she definitely was the most memorable part of their set. Not to say I don't like their sound but I feel she could make a solo album go a long way.

Did you really see them tonight? Or were you at the show at the Metro on Thursday?

If so wasn't that lack of ac rediculous? I thought I was gonna cook downstairs.

Nah I saw them at the Egyptian Room in Indy, it was hotter than hell there too.

Yeah, the band has pretty much shifted members constantly- with Erika being the only mainstay, for obvious reasons.... she makes them what they are, everyone else is a pawn.

lol...I guess that's going to be there theme for this tour.

I checked their schedule on their website. The amount of shows they're performing in such a short time span is rediculous

Ditto, The Mountain and Out At Sea are fantastic tracks but it's hard to pick favorites.
