The last show I went to was seeing these jokers four or five months ago and it was a major wake up call for me. I had dug MGMT for a few years, somehow without having any perception of their fanbase or even critical reputation, and then I see them live with all these giggling witches and now I feel like such a girl for digging them as much as I still do. They really are an almost pure glam throwback and they're the closest thing we have today to David Bowie, so I'm just gonna try to keep listening to them without feeling so bad about myself, but I think it will be tough

Only get ruined if you don't treat them right, I make sure mine are kept safe.

You remind me of this: Ode to a Fallen Bro of a Product: The CD Binder | HIPSTER RUNOFF
Random, I know.

Admire you for that. Great bands have terrible fanbases. Would have thought it would be a bunch of surly poseurs pretending not to be having fun and yelling at everyone that its pronounced "The Management" rather then screaming witches....

So, I don't like electronic music much but some MGMT songs have played on my Pandora station (I assume the singles) and they are really good. I guess I might have to try some of this stuff...

Be careful, they're awfully fragile.

I need to buy a hardrive type thing to back up all my files on, I don't really buy CDs much anymore. I need to invest a couple of quid in about 10 albums. Freshen the collection up a bit.
