I saw them on the Tube once perform and they looked very enthusiastic about it. That turned me off a lil though.

I saw them at a festival last summer. By the time i managed to get into the tent they were already nearly halfway through the set and then their set was halted for about 15 minutes for crowd safety reasons. Their live sound is ok i guess, it wasn't exactly a life-changing experience, there was alot of room for improvement. And yes the last 2 songs they play just happen to be Time To Pretend and Kids.

I saw them and they sucked. This has been confirmed by many people. Don't see if the tickets are too expensive, but if you're a fan and it's like 10 bucks, you might as well, they could've improved for all I know.

It's irritating that a band so uninteresting and derivitive as this garner a huge deal of attention whilst bands such as Metronomy who are genuinely making really interesting, dynamic music receive little if any recognition. Seriously, the only songs worth listening to on this blasted album are the singles - and even then they wear thin after a couple of listens. This isnt a dig at bantarians in particular, but music listeners in general.

Oracular is a weird album for me. It starts out really really great, but gets progressivley worse. The first three tracks are pretty amazing though.

I agree with you on that. I listen to the first five tracks then stop it. I guess they haven't discovered how to place filler tracks in the middle of the album yet. They should at least maybe sprinkle the good tracks throughout the album instead of load it all in the beginning.

I dig them. They're a pretty decent new band.
