Although she's technically NOT a Canadian, the Canadians have adopted her as one of their own.... NEKO CASE. Yeah, she lived all over, and ended up setting up camp in Canada, so please let her stay on this thread...

Ouch.

Alexisonfire's my favorite Canadian band, along with Billy Talent. Rush is good too.

We have a LOT of shit bands and artists, though. Simple Plan, Sum 41, Nickelback, Theory Of A Deadman, Avril Lavigne, and so many more.

Since non-indie/alternative bands are being brought up, don't forget The Band. Great Canadian group. And, well, William Shatner. Insofar as you credit his contributions to music.

The Stills are Canadian.

The indie acts I really like (New Pornographers, Unicorns/Islands) have been mentioned.

For me my fav Canadian bands are Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton and Holy Fuck. But I think those are the only bands I know that are from Canada.
