Um are you tools seriously forgetting about GORDON ****ING LIGHTFOOT???!!! He is more indie than anyone mentioned so far!!!! Sure he was picked up by major labels but he was definitely on his own course. And Broken Social Scene is kind of butt. I like Fiest on her own much more.
