There is one thing I require of a girl though, she needs to love or at least like Beach House. Any girl that doesn't like "Teen Dream" is unworthy.

I can accept that. Teen Dream is that good.

I usually try not to be that particular when it comes to girls. We all have our idea of the perfect girlfriend or boyfriend but in reality we'll probably never meet them. Although I would really love to have a dream-pop girlfriend but the chances of that where I live is pretty slim. We all have to make compromises.

Nice APTBS avatar btw.

My girlfriend really let me down recently when she declared Hopsice to be 'boring'. It hurt, not gonna lie.

Not really sure where to sit on this whole topic. There is immense logic in what some members are saying about not getting so sucked into forcing people to like things (or forcing yourself to like things) keeping your self-worth in tact. My last g.f. is pretty cultured, artsy, and into some really great music but it wasn't a burning passion like it is for me, her and I attended quite a few concerts together but we would get into arguments over little things related to music because it came down to a taste difference. Music is something that play, listen to, experience live, and literally worship on a regular basis and so naturally I would really like for any "girl-to-be" to be deeply connected with music as well. That being said, music isn't my personality. Even if I found a girl that had the exact same music taste as me she could be a polar opposite match. No matter how much music to have to talk about and share that wont fill in the gaps of the relationship. My last experience proved this well. my gf and i didn't have the best connection with humor (a hugggge factor in her life, and her style of humor didn't make sense to me) and she wasn't in the least bit athletic (ain't no fatty though) making it kind of difficult to have any hobbies other than banging 3-4 times a day. So i'd say look for your best friend, not a band mate.

when in doubt, don't.

you're doubting so don't continue with the relationship. whether or not your basis is valid, the mere fact your heart is not in it, it won't work.
