Really? No Obits thread? Whew. Alrighty so Obits is the most recent project of ex-Pitchfork, ex-Hot Snakes, and ex-DRIVE LIKE JEHU guitarist/vocalist Rick Froeberg. They do surfy garage rock with class and chops galore. What's great is usually bands like this are totes dominated by guitars but there's a nice balance with bass lines and drumming and of course reverb-laden guitar leads. They released a new album this year. Thoughts? I can't be the only fan here.
