It's funny, I was talking about metal to this 23-24 year old guy I work with the other day and he was like, "You know who's a total headbanger band? Ministry!"

I was like, "Well I guess it depends which album you listen to."

The look of shock on his face when I told him they started out as a new wave band was priceless.

Better yet, Effigy or Work For Love. I really like all the bands left, this is getting difficult. Honestly at this point I'm just arbitrarily picking things - except for Sisters Of Mercy. Sorry, I just can't get into them any more.

I need to stop coming into this thread because the pain of people eliminating my favourite bands is too intense. Leave Gang of Four and Jesus And Mary Chain alone you animals!

I know when JAMC, Pixies, and the Smiths are eliminated I'll feel a little hollow inside. What I don't know is how normal such a reaction should be.
