Hello from probably the only person on here from Prince Edward Island, Canada.

I'm Darcy Cudmore, from, well, Prince Edward Island, Canada as I said. I'm 19 years old and am an apprentice carpenter. I enjoy playing the guitar, writing my own music/poems and anything else to do with music. I also like playing hockey, reading, watching good quality movies and such.

My favorite bands/artists are Guns N' Roses, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Johnny Cash, Meat Loaf, Blind Melon, Black Label Society, Kanye West, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, Hinder, Lynyrd Skynrd, Nine Inch Nails, Queen, Ryan Adams, Theory Of A Deadman, U2 and Ozzy Osbourne.

I only really play acoustic stuff and love doing it. Its all in the fun!

I have never been to PEI but heard it's beautiful. There's been a few Canadians who've joined lately. I think we are slowly taking over the board!

I literally am not a fan of one of the bands/artists you listed. But you're from Canada..and you like Hockey so I'll give you a chance. If you ever want any bands to check out, let me know...Ive got tons I'd be more than happy to show you.

I too dislike or hate *nearly* every band you listed. Points for NIN, Queen, and U2, but I can bet a baby that you like them for all the wrong reasons.

I like artists because of there music. Thats it. I'm hoping those aren't the wrong reasons.

don't worry too much about 'the right reasons' for what you listen to. there's a good reason why i try to avoid band specific threads as much as possible.

I like a few of your bands, I like U2 and Lynyrd Skynyrd. (I don't know what they're talking about) there is nothing wrong with you taste in music.
If you like acoustic music then check out the thread I started maybe you'll see something cool you like. (I've been meaning to add more, but only if others post in it.)

Welcome, Bucket Foot. I look forward to seeing some of your entries in the Songwriting section (I hope). Don't heed what some people say here; if you don't match their music standards (weather it be what bands, or why) they immediately have an uncontrollable urge to be condescending.
There are no wrong reasons to like any type of music, country to rock. Learn this.
