Default introducing...

Hey dudes,
My names Jess. I'm 20. I'm from Maine. I noticed there are a good number of people from England on here. I just studied abroad in England for a semester and miss it so much!
I'm a pretty big music fan. I like to mix up my music and try different kinds but my favorites genres tend to be within indie rock, alternative, pop, post-punk and lately alt-country. Sounds like you all just want a list of bands though. It's easier to figure out someones tastes that way. So here it goes. Some of my favorites are:
Weezer
Foo Fighters
Replacements
Grandaddy
Mountain Goats
Wilco
Maritime
Goldenboy
Hot Water Music
Jack Johnson
The Rentals
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah
Cursive
Nerf Herder
Desaparecidos
Nada Surf
Damien Rice
Decemberists
New Pornographers
nofx
The Promise Ring
The Anniversary
Dismemberment Plan
And lately, I've been loving the Avett Brothers.

Okay, that's probably long enough to give you an idea...

See you around the forum
