Default Good morning!

Hey, everyone...

I'm so glad I found this site. I look forward to some great back and forth among fellow music lovers. I began taking piano lessons one year ago at age 55 (way passed mid-life crisis!!!) and am enjoying every minute of it. Even practicing scales and arpeggios is cool (geek???).

I would love to have someone in the know critique two piano solos I've recently written.

I look forward to being a part of MusicBanter!!!

Enjoy your day, everyone.

Dear Michael,

Welcome to our site. We would like to hear your piano as well as your favorite artists. I hope you have fun on this site...

BUT FIRST

Send a picture of yourself holding two bananas upside down in a wind tunnel. This is mandatory. We all had to do it. Then you can join our club.

Wait, does he have to hold the bananas upside down, or is he upside down?

He'll be upside down.

Well, that seems strange. I mean if he wants to suck some nuts that's fine but I was only going to have him hold the bananas. The trick is getting the nuts in the right position. I mean i guess he can maneuver a bowl near his face, but what will he use? Almonds? Peanuts? Walnuts? I don't know man. I just don't know.

Wait, so will he be holding the bananas upside down, so that from our perspective, they'll be right side up?

In retrospect, it doesn't matter what direction the bananas are facing.

Hey there

Never too old to start learning the universal language of music. Don't let the silly shenanigans on the site deter you, seems there were lots of 'new' members who only wanted to spam garbage. Poke around the Instruments subforum and I'm sure you'll find a few decent threads to learn from and participate in.

well... you do seem to be in fine form today, mostly justified but if it's enough to scare new people away then they're probably too sensitive for this place anyway hahahaha
