Hello there, I'm Monplaisir, I'm 23 years old and passionate of music. I'm french so excuse my frenglish, haha.
I'm also a musician, play guitar mostly, try to test all genre and put it all in free licence.
I listen to all kind of music but I'm really fond of noise, shoegaze, punk hardcore, post-hardcore, IDM, abstract hip hop and free licenced music. I find annoying slow jazz and really heavy stoner.
Some of my favorite bands are: Melt Banana, My Bloody Valentine, Nujabes, Civil Civic, Mission of Burma, Shing02...

Haha, I'm not so sure if you may like those bands.

I'd recommed Catastrophe&Cure, soap&skin and James Hersey to you.
There are a few indie pop bands, but punk etc. isn't so common here.

Silenzio: Thank you for the recommandation ! I like soap&sun, voices are really cool ! Catastrophe&cure too but James Hersey is really not my cup of tea, haha.
Maybe you have some bands in your local scene ? With a bandcamp and just a weird demo recorded in a basement ? (Maybe am I annoying with my question marks ?
