I'm glad you're checking in, I missed you! I'm sorry about the back issues, I hope you're recovering quickly and you're getting good care. But good to hear that everyone was reasonable about the wedding speech in the end

I've missed you too, Marie! Thanks so much. I'm getting excellent care and going from strength to strength with the physio. It's a gradual process and, as Lisna stated, requires patience.

Still feeling somewhat of a failure in not making the speech but must admit, I was secretly glad I got out of it. I think publicly speaking would have been even harder for me than the surgery was!
