It's not humourous to use what's used as a slur against queer people. It's the same as calling me a tranny. I know English isn't your first language but that makes no difference.

Your native language makes no difference since you'd called me "she" before that and not "it", or you could have used "they", I imagine you are familiar with this word, yes? When in doubt, google is your friend.

You knew which one to use. It's a serious slur and it dehumanises me. It's worse than calling me a "faggot".

I know the meaning. I just didn't know it would be that insulting. It wouldn't offend anyone overhere when used as a joke and I jokingly called you "it" because I didn't know your gender for sure.
And, in the end, why would you think I wanted to offend you. I don't even know who you are.

Because your joke was more important to you than the feelings of a human being, that's why it's offensive and not at all funny, even though you just said you didn't know what you were saying because of the language difference...then you said you knew what you were saying. So clearly you just don't care that it offends me.
