Default Can anyone please ID this jazz/blues melody?

Heard it on an episode of The Waltons.

Guessing it's from the '30s, early 40s.

I'm new and not allowed to post a URL.

But please go to YouTube and search for:
Tune from The Waltons' "The Festival" (season 6, episode 16)
length: 1:46

Thank you!

Well, the melody sounds a lot like the chorus melody of Bessie Smith's recording of I'm Wild About That Thing but the trumpeter is simply riffing on it the whole time with very little variation (or development). But that's the closest match that I can make. Here's an more modern take on I'm Wild About That Thing -
