haha, calm down. it's no different than any other day if you're single, it just means lots of cheap candy the week after.

There's a huge history behing the actual significance of halloween, it actually started out as a some-what religious holiday to pay tribute to lost loved ones (forget what religion or country). Now anyways, it's basically just an excuse to dress up and get drunk. As you get older, it's basically an excuse for girls to wear really slutty clothes. It's just a fun holiday.

actaully from what i remember lerning, halloween was based back to when they had witch hunts, and demons of some kind.. it is about religion but also about because scared. so halloween your really suppose to dress up like the demon, witch that scars you the most.. (now all girls dress like sluts, and the rarely dress up at all, about here) but ya this is what i know.

I've been missing out on this girls dressing like sluts thing haha. But I don't know anything about my predicament for valentine's day. I assume I'll be single like always.

Halloween (All Hallowes Eve) is the Pagan new year. It's about shutting out the evil spirits of the past year (which Jack-o-lanterns are meant to ward away) and inviting in the good spirits of the new year. This is all pre-witch hunt stuff, and European not American (amazing what capitalism can do to a holiday).
