A single fish would die yes. But if that fish had slowly been experiencing oxygen more and more in it's life time, then gave birth, the offspring carrying similar exploratory traits would carry on the process. No one fish can change a species but a generation of fish can slowly develop. Obviously never in our short lives will we see any form of evolution from anything, but the process does happen.

Alians idiot, its alians. They made us and we were failures, there ownly sucess, were the manitymu. But they ownly made one manitymu because it was to powerful. And it killed all of them. There ship was stationed in were bablon is, thats were the firstalimals were. Oh and the alians looked kinda like humans with wings. And there comander was of a different more powerful aliam race, its name was God. He also had an unlimited source of energy.

Well...What people cant explain is the period where they began developing lungs, hell, at one point in the process, they would have been some fish/land creature hybrid and would die in the evolution process as their gils were turning into lungs...And turtles and snakes are different, they are not fish, they dont have gills, they have large enough air sacks in their lungs to hold in a good amount of oxygen in. If fish evolved in the water, they would die, even if they could hold in oxygen, they would have yet to obtain it, and they would die anyway. And if they evolved on land, they would die before developing lungs, and thats pretty self explainatory.

Since lungs develop in different areas of the body to gils, I'd be willing to bet that they developed both first, and then steadily lost their gils due to spending such a small portion of their lives in the water. And over time they became so undeveloped they stopped growing altogether.

And that is just a theory based on substantial evidence...It dosent directly prove or disprove anything.
