It can be pretty ****ing awesome alone but my scariest moments on acid were by myself.

The social element doesn't really affect me, but then again I only really trip with good friends. Being on the come up while in public sucks though.

I'd never even try if Iwas or was going to be in public. Not in a million years. Without someone to grab me by the hand and lead me I'd probably find an alley to hide in for literally the next few hours or be convinced (possibly rightly so) that I was going to jail otherwise. I would be an open wound of being obviously screwed up.

I wouldn't do it alone but I'd do it with someone who was also tripping (or a babysitter but that's kind of lame).

Riding a bicycle on acid gives you a lot of power.

You need sunglasses to be in public. I think most people can spot dime sized pupils.

I think most people can spot druggies with sunglasses. I don't care how ****ed up you are if it's night don't wear sunglasses. They're more noticeable and sketch than dilated pupils.

Nobody at the art museum gave a **** when I stared at the same painting with quarter sized pupils for 30 minutes and tried to touch it. I came back several hours later and asked them why they turned it off.

Dude I know always tells the amazing story of when his dad and my friend went to a democratic debate held at the Salt Lake library while tripping on acid. One of the politicians was having a full on convo with my friend who was fried at that point when dude's dad all of a sudden just starts petting his head. He left the debates because he couldn't stop giggling during it and then went to explore the library. They said they looked out the window (most of the walls are glass in that library) and found that he had grabbed the biggest book he could find and sat down looking through it while laughing his ass off.

I've seen people that are perfectly coherent and fine while on acid. For me, I'm almost completely incompetent. I remember watching fireworks on the fourth of July on acid and when going back to the car, walking through the streets, or just the car ride, it all felt and looked like a surreal painting. Which is weird since the firework show wasn't any where near as trippy as that car ride.

It basically removes all social value and memory like I'm experiencing everything for the first time. It obviously makes new (to you) music mind blowing but it also makes familiar music more amazing because it just feels intuitive because you know it but you don't know you know it, you know?
