Cell phones. Keeping in touch with family and friends is important. If I lived nearby to all of them, I may have a different view, but I don't. I, for example, have no family members (aside from my immediate family) in this state.

I’ve always been drawn to (South Asian) Indian culture, for its diversity of spirituality, cuisine, music, dance. I think henna tattoos and saris are beautiful. I’d like to study Sanskrit.

2) If the year consisted of only one season, which would you choose?
Autumn. I love the colors of the leaves and how the trees look like sculptures after the leaves have fallen.

3) You can outlaw any one thing of your choosing. What is it and why?
Probably cigarette smoking – it’s so bad for your health. Although I realize it’s really hard to quit because I used to smoke.

Stove/oven. I wouldn’t want to build a fire every time I have to cook something.
