1. What was your very first car or motorbike?

Never had either.

2. What's your all-time favourite video or computer game?

The only two I ever got deep into were Doom and Doom II, and this mad space exploration **** called Starflight II. The graphics were awful but the gameplay was amazing. I used to rush home from work just to play it.

3. Name one country you really hate (and if you like, say why)

Okay, maybe I could have worded this better. Obviously nobody hates the actual land, it's the people, the culture, or what it stands for. So mine is.....

SYRIA!
Why? Because that's where ISIS have made their base and I hate nothing on this Earth more than those ****s. Also, it's been bombed to **** and is hardly a country anymore. Oh, and Yemen. And Iraq. And Saudi Arabia. In fact, the whole ****ing Middle East can suck my dick, which will make all those intolerant homophobes gay. Just what they deserve.

4. What was/is your worst subject at school/college?

Maths and Irish, though few people were good at the latter. I hated maths though, still do.

5. Do you think DST is a good thing, or a bad thing?

It's annoying because suddenly the nights are darker in winter, and you have to remember to put your clock forward/back. Also, **** farmers, just on general principles.

6. What's your main medium for watching TV programmes/films etc?

Still my TV, with an Amazon Fire Stick attached now to allow me access Netflix and Plex.

I am 100% sure that the game which I have booted up the most times over the years must be Doom II. Literally no year has passed between 1995 and 2017 where I haven't played it at least a few times.

I played a different space exploration game a lot back in the 90's called Frontier: First Encounters (it was the third Elite game). I was basically obsessed with it for two consecutive years or more.

It was basically a broken piece of ****, but I loved it to death. Even now, screenshots of the game still have some kind of weird pull on my imagination.

Oh I should have mentioned, I was also into Wing Commander for a time, so much so that I (gasp!) bought a joystick! I tried to get into Privateer, but it just wasn't the same. Vape them tigers! Down with the Kilrathi! (But they're sooooo cute...)

1. What was your very first car or motorbike?

I had a white 1972 Torana that I picked up for $600. It was a piece of junk but it got me around for a couple of years.

2. What's your all-time favourite video or computer game?

Oddworld is probably my favourite game series but Minecraft is what I spent the most time playing.

3. Name one country you really hate (and if you like, say why)

Don't really feel that strongly against any country. Maybe USA for electing an absolute cretin.

4. What was/is your worst subject at school/college?

Probably Chemistry. Too much memory work.

5. Do you think DST is a good thing, or a bad thing?

I don't see the point. Kind of annoying really.

6. What's your main medium for watching TV programmes/films etc?

Mainly streaming Netflix and Stan. I rarely watch free to air any more and Foxtel sucks balls.

I liked Wing Commander, but instead of shooting up spaceships, I mostly just wished I could stay on the base and interact with people. So basically, I'm talking about Wing Commander III and IV. I never played the first two.

I think the original and II were the ones I played. I loved the atmospheric but martial music too.

Never got to play Wing Commander, but I had a friend who loved it. I bought my joystick to play X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter. OMG such a fun game.

Fly through space and kill space tigers. What could be better? Plus there was even an officers' bar. AND the Kilrathi taunted you onscreen as you fought them. Class.

1. What was your very first car or motorbike?

2001 Hyundai Accent. Used. It's half gold, half silver because of a defect in the paint job, it smells like curry and wet dog when it rains, it has so much rust on it that literally every ****ing mechanic who sees it can only talk about the rust, and last year I destroyed its engine when my timing belt broke, but we fixed her up. My car is like a loyal old dog, and I love it, but it's gonna die on me any day now, I swear.

2. What's your all-time favourite video or computer game?

Any installment in the Borderlands series. The Monkey Island series gets an honourable mention.

3. Name one country you really hate (and if you like, say why)

America, if we're being honest. I don't hate Americans or even all of America, but there isn't another country that makes me want to punch myself in the face more frequently.

4. What was/is your worst subject at school/college?

My worst subject in grade school was math, although in college I worked extremely hard to overcome my fear of math so I could do well in statistics. Consequently, I'm very comfortable with statistics, but don't you dare ask me to solve a parabola or anything.

5. Do you think DST is a good thing, or a bad thing?

DST is ****ing stupid, and this is an educated opinion because I grew up in a town that never changed its time. Now I've moved to the city and after the time change it gets dark at 3:30 PM and I'm all WTF. DST apologists are all "Waaaaah extra hour of daylight", but you guys are morons: DST doesn't give the day 25 hours; it just MOVES the theoretical-hour-of-daylight to 6 AM from 4 PM. Either way, your kids are walking in the dark before or after school.

Further, DST is actually harmful. In the weeks after the time changes, there are increases in job accidents and vehicular accidents as a result of disturbed sleep rhythms. Add to that, the reasons we engaged in DST are archaic and no longer a factor in today's modern agricultural practices. DST offers us no benefits and a number of harms. Hence, ****ing stupid.

6. What's your main medium for watching TV programmes/films etc?

Computer. It makes no sense to pay for a hundred channels when I only watch 1 or 2 of them, and even then only for 1 or 2 programs. Also, I refuse to pay to be advertised to. Then there's the fact that you can watch it on your own schedule and terms. If you want to see a show from the beginning, it's pretty much impossible to do so via TV unless you shell out for the DVDs.
