It really depends on your style.

I'd say go for it if you can grow decent facial hair (skinhead + clean shave looks ridiculous imo).

Basically like a 2 on top and 0/1 on the back and sides and blend it in. Decent stubble length and use a razor to keep it tidy.

This is if you are considering becoming a full time bald, btw.

I dunno. I've got a pretty good beard going but I'm so lazy with how I look like I legit look like someone that just woke up behind a dumpster. I don't really care though. The less I look like I'm trying, the less people take me seriously.

If you're gonna do bald and a mad beard you really need to be a neo-Nazi, or at the very least own a Harley imo.

That's exactly what would happen if I were to shave mine. I have a roundish face with no chin; I'd look like a Bob's Burgers character. Or a toad. I keep browsing before/after photos on hair-related forums and subreddits and they're always like "I feel so free! It's so liberating!" ..but then they also tend to have delicate elven features and a perfect jawline, so. And I know that the growing out period must be horribly awkward.
