Probably Electric Warrior or The Slider by T. Rex, inherited from my sister after she moved on to the harder stuff.

I like this couple and their channel. Neeps and tatties are fine but I'd definitely take a pass on haggis. I'm usually armchair traveling, watching cooking videos or, of course, listening to music via YouTube.

3. What's something that you're really good at cooking?
Eggplant parmigiana

4. If you had to choose the book for an MB book club, which one would it be?
Please Kill Me - The Oral Uncensored History of Punk by by Legs McNeil and Gillian McCain

Don't Worry About The Government.

Pistachio nuts

Have had a copy of it for years, and I'm still reading it piecemeal. I take it off the shelf when I want vicarious thrills up the spine, lol.

Master of Puppets

Good lord, please bring back the '90s. Amen.

3. What's something that you're really good at cooking?

Meat loaf. And also chicken fried rice.

4. If you had to choose the book for an MB book club, which one would it be?

Tough one, lots of options. I'd go with Malcolm Lowry's Under the Volcano.

5. What do you think the role of government should be?

Protection from foreign and domestic threats. Provider of services that would be difficult to provide in a strict free market. And investing in areas of research that may not provide enough incentives for private companies to do so, but that still may be beneficial in the long run (e.g. ARPANET, early space programs).

6. What's your favourite snack?

Beef jerky.

I’ll be right over. Practically the only thing I order in an Italian restaurant -
not because it’s the only Italian I like, but that I don’t go to restaurants
very often and I have cravings for eggplant parm. I really should learn to make it.

1. What was your favourite album/song when you were 10 years old?
This is tough. I gotta remember what I liked when I was ten. Have "Twangy" Guitar Will Travel and Sgt Pepper were definitely my favorite albums before the age of nine. But I think by the age of ten I started to expand my taste to include Fats Domino and the Rolling Stones. I still remember being in the school yard trying to talk about music. Saying stuff like 'I've been getting into Big Joe Turner lately, have you heard of him?' I would go with Rock and Roll by Big Joe Turner - songs like Flip, Flop or Fly but I could have been eleven at the time. So I will go with Have "Twangy" Guitar Will Travel as my favorite album when I was ten.

2. Go to YouTube and post one of your recommended videos. Write a comment about the video too ...
Some genius in Australia by the name of Murray Blair came up with a digital practice chanter that looks almost identical to a regular (acoustic) chanter, and the thing is loaded with features. Matt MacIsaac does a decent review, but at the end things really take off when he plays the tune Handshaker.

Matt MacIsaac reviews the Blair Digital Chanter

3. What's something that you're really good at cooking?
Cheesesteaks

4. If you had to choose the book for an MB book club, which one would it be?
The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories by Tim Burton

5. What do you think the role of government should be?
  • Infrastructure, critical infrastructure
  • Space Force
  • Responding to natural disasters

6. What's your favourite snack?
Grapes, cheese and a French baguette (even better with wine).

My favorite album when I was 10 was probably MMLP.

My favorite song was probably Hellbound by Eminem but I can't remember if it came out when I was 10 or older.

I was white trash for sure. This was right before I got really into ICP.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.
