Dear bitch I used to work for: Screwing me out of thousands of dollars was already a pretty horrible thing to do, but to then turn around and claim it, as if you paid it to me, on your taxes, causing the government to come after me for taxes on money I was never paid really puts you in the upper echelons of assholishness. I really hope karma takes a gigantic bite out of your ass some day.

Now that Mumford & Sons are getting radio play, my youngest sister and mother are all about them. My mom was listening to that song on the radio, and she was like, "I love that part where they play the banjo. They're so awesome." And I'd have let it go, had she not been all, "I downloaded their first album, and it's even better than this new one."

I was like, "Wait. What? When I tried to play that in the car, you told me to turn off my stupid hippie music, and then I switched it to your (now) favorite song, The Cave, and you said that they were just trying to be deep and it wasn't good music, would never appeal to a wide audience. THEN you said, 'Oh, yeah, they're so cool because they're not country and they're playing a banjo. Turn it off.'"

And she was like, "You never played this."

But I know I did, for a fact. Because I talked with my friends about it after the fact, about how she completely dismissed it. I remember it vividly. Mumford & Sons are far from being my favorite band, but I like them.

I just think it's sickening that they play them on the radio, and suddenly people are on the bandwagon. Her prior dismissal and disgust with a song she now "loves" and sees as musical brilliance just proves that.

I'm not really angry, just irritated. Like what you like; don't worry about whether or not it's on the radio. Ugh.

It is commercial to complain about music being commercial, like who gives a **** if the radio play it? I don't listen anyway so I don't know but so many people think it is cool around here to be into obscure underground electronica, when it's really ****ing ****.

Both of my dogs pissed and shat all over my room/downstairs. I come downstairs to clean up everything in my room and I see a note right next to a downstairs pile of **** saying "thanks for cleaning it up" with my mom and my sister's signatures. Happy ****ing Monday.
