Incorrect. There are many infections that are horrible and painful and serious, but do not require hospitalisation. Besides, here, you're talking about an absolute minimum wait of 3-4 hours in A&E, and that could stretch to more than a day. People here only go to hospital if it's life-threatening. Goooooo Irish Government! Cutback those vital health services, and while you're at it, fuel up the govt jet for another pointless meeting in some sunny clime..

I guess my point was more if she really though it was bad she would be doing something about it instead of jokingly talking about it here on musicbanter. When I am sick or have a health problem the last thing I do it talk about it lightly with people online. I didnt mean it insultingly, just that if she really thought it was something she should go and have it looked at professionally.

Yeah, from what I understood she knew it was semi-serious but was trying to make her mother see that. Luckily she now has. True story: I'm now waiting for a housecall for my sis, who has ANOTHER kidney infection!
