and my own purpose in the conversation was to be contrarian towards janzoon's post by falling back on semantics by presenting an obviously absurd exception to the "you should never hit anyone you are in a relationship with" rule. i succeeded in providing such an exception, and thus my participation in this thread has been a resounding success.

but to respond more seriously... the prevailing wisdom, i believe, is that assaulting anyone under any circumstances (relationship or not) is unacceptable. the one exception being self-defense. meaning if your partner is attacking you physically, you might possibly be justified in defending yourself with a mortal kombat style uppercut.

So, when running my fascist Nation States country, I occasionally have to turn to Google in order to find out what Nazi Germany's position was on this or that issue. There is no shortage of articles all about the Third Reich's political and social practices, but ALMOST ALWAYS IN THE CONTEXT OF WWII AND THE HOLOCAUST!!!

I don't want to read about concentration camp brothels. I want to research the Nazis' position on prostitution. Yeah, yeah, they killed some people, but I got a country to run here.

that reminds me... i made a country on there once, made like 3 decisions, and then never did anything with it again. i just checked back in on it... 48 notices, 5 issues, 20 telegrams. **** that.. lol. don't have the patience for this game.
