I dunno why you and others constantly try to make this some kind of moral issue when it's just human life in a nutshell - everyone takes advantage of whatever good someone else established at a previous point in time, whether that's a technological innovation or anything else you take for granted. None of us start from zero or in a vacuum. I've never taken credit for the work that others around me have done. If I make a sale, I get credit for making that sale happen because I'm the one who prospected the opportunity, brought the conversation to a certain point and then established the terms and conditions to move ahead on whatever the deliverable is. I didn't make some lackey do that work for me.

Sales skills are literally the best thing you can have in this particular era if your goal is to not get wiped out by capitalistic tomfoolery or become a statistic at someone else's board meeting. Everything else is sort of "nice to have" territory.

Better to play the game and get good at it than whine about how you don't like the rules. Capitalism isn't getting a 3.4 patch update at any point in our lifetimes bar full-blown nuclear holocaust.

Having the ability to sell something of value to someone else at a good price and being able to do so with with consistency is an ability that that let's someone excel in any country, market, etc. on the planet. AKA anywhere where people live. Unless you are somebody who lives off in an uninhabited corner of the woods somewhere with your own well, greenhouse, etc and never interact with other humans....you are basically in sales whether you are selling the perception others have of you or you are doing a job someone has assigned you. The better you can grasp this basic concept, the better you'll do.

Something isn't immoral just because it doesn't benefit all people all of the time. There's no system of government or economy that can effectively service that many people. If such a thing existed, you would never have problems in countries like Denmark which are supposed to be fairly close to that ideal in regards to population density and a host of other factors.

Capitalism isn't perfect, but this tells the real story. And at the end of the day, this is the kind of data that actually matters. If anything, it just goes to show that it is better to work on the problems we have than tear everything down in favor of other kinds of systems.
