So every so often my roommate (and good friend) discovers some sh*te new ambient techno band and gets obsessed with them. I don't really mind but when I put on Massive Attack (which I find pretty accessible) he gets pissed and says they suck. Okay, so I can understand if he doesn't respect my opinions, but now...

...we're getting the chance to see the original lineup of Dinosaur Jr. (J. Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph) for SIXTEEN DOLLARS (that's about ten quid for you Brits) at some tiny club about five blocks away. And you know what? He doesn't like them. Not because he actually doesn't like them but because he won't give their music a f*cking chance because he doesn't respect my opinions.
