Washing the face, yes, but the other ones are about appearance and how the guy wants to look. My boyfriend shaves daily or every other day because he likes the way it looks. And a guy with a beard is not any less hygienic than a clean shaven man, as long as both of them wash their faces.

I hate shaving. I usually put it off until the itching gets to me. I'd grow a beard if it didn't irritate me so much. It's ok until I'm stressed then I feel like ripping my face off.
