its a clock, clocks go tick. at least mine do. or it could be that he's surrounded in ticks and he thought he'd post every time he saw one jump by.

going off on a tangent, one thing that bothers me about religion, is that it provokes people to go door to door and spread the word of god (i'm talking about any religion here, although where I live chrisians are by far the most likely to do this.) anyways, last weekend, a bunch of us were over at a friends house. now we'd all had a few drinks, some more so than others. So around 7 at night (ya, we started a bit early, so sue us) the doorbell rings. now a little earlier on my buddy had tried a few shots of absinthe, and if you've never had it before, it f***s you up big time. so he goes stumbling down the stairs to the door, flings it open, and comes face to face with two men of the "church of jesus christ of latter day saints". this is more or less how the conversation went:

my buddy (we'll call him joe): hey there
missionary dudes (we'll call them the bob's): hello, we're from the church of jesus christ of latter day saints, we're here to spread the message of god, would you be interested in hearing out message?
joe: damn right I would be, I love jesus, my buddy's gota pen that says I love jesus
bob's (somewhat startled by joe's obvious drunkenness, but carry on): we're here to spread the word of jesus christ, our lord and savior-
joe (cutting the bob's off): ya know who my savior is? is this guy right here (pulls over a friend of mine), know why? he's the one with the ice, he's the ice man. he's the bringer of the ice if you will. without ice, no margaritatatatas......and they have alcohol in them, and thats a good thing. i hear jesus turned water into wine, could he turn wine into vodka? or absinthe? that s*it's some good stuff, but i gotta tell you, the whole green fairy bit is a load of bull. alls I see is you guys, and you dont look like fairies......(at this point we couldn't hear anymore, too much laughing)

so durring this little speech, these guys are standing there just completely speechless, and my friend took pity on them, told them they'd probably be better off just leaving, and shut the door behind them. leaving my friend talking to the door like nothing happened for a few seconds, then realizing no one's there anymore, going back to the kitchen for some "margaritatatatata's".
