I'm quite familiar, my grandmother is Yugoslavian (and probably part Croat). She took a trip to Zagreb recently, said it was beautiful.

Nah, Bronx gets bad rap, but there are actually parts that are pretty cool--e.g., Riverdale, just across from Manhattan over the Henry Hudson and Broadway Bridges....
